Hippocrat, a Web3 project in the DeSci and healthcare sector, has announced that it will host the “DeSci Seoul 2024 Conference” with ResearchHub on September 2nd.
The company aims to build a “global health data collection and utilization ecosystem” through decentralized governance and open cooperative structures. Recently, Hippocrat has forged partnerships with numerous traditional healthcare companies and blockchain projects, bridging Web2 and Web3 to accelerate the establishment and expansion of the DeSci ecosystem.
As part of this initiative, Hippocrat will host DeSci Seoul on September 2nd at DreamPlus in Gangnam.
“DeSci Seoul” will be a side event of “Korea Blockchain Week 2024” (KBW2024), one of the largest blockchain conferences in Asia. The event will serve as a platform for dialogue, showcasing practical applications of decentralized science (DeSci), and exploring future development directions.
The organizers have announced that major domestic and international companies and projects in the field of decentralized science will participate as speakers, panelists, and sponsors. Among the participants is ResearchHub, the event’s co-host and a platform for open publication and peer review of scientific research founded by Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong. Other notable attendees include the Solana Foundation, which operates the leading blockchain platform Solana, and prominent pharmaceutical companies such as Green Cross and Daewoong Pharmaceutical. Additional sponsors include Nobleblocks, a decentralized publishing platform; Somnia, a 300k+ tps EVM L1 with Interoperability Protocols; Aminochain, a project building a decentralized biobank; CUDIS, the first AI-empowered wearable DePIN product that enables data ownership; Aethir, a scalable decentralized cloud infrastructure and Puffpaw, a Vape 2 Earn project on Berachain.
The event will feature insightful presentations from various speakers, panel discussions, and interactive workshops. A highlight will be the “ResearchHub Workshop” for researchers, led by ResearchHub Foundation officials. This workshop will cover platform demonstrations and peer review methods, with participants receiving token rewards.
As an added incentive, event attendees will have the chance to win a CUDIS smart ring, valued at approximately $200, through a raffle. As of now, over 650 participants have registered for the event through the official link, with the majority being blockchain industry experts from abroad.
Meanwhile, Hippocrat is accelerating the establishment and expansion of the ecosystem with the goal of building a “global health data collection and utilization ecosystem.” Recently, it has formed partnerships with major domestic and international institutions such as CUDIS, SALUSCARE, and Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital.
